ABOUT ME
At the tender age of eleven, Patrick (Fetty,Face) Francis was lucky enough to migrate from Kingston, Jamaica. There he left most of his childhood friends in the terrible garrison, Mongoose Town. Shortly after relocating to Paterson.NJ, he fell in love with Hip-Hop and the culture as a whole. As a result of that, it led to time being spent in juvenile detention centres on numerous occasions. In 1996 he was released from a juvenile center and three months later, on mothers day, he was charged with murder! He was simply in the wrong place, at the wrong time...

A year later he went to trial and lost, being sentenced to 15-30 years in state prison. With nothing to do but the same negativity he left one the outside, in the free world, 'Face' started attending jail house writing classes until he mastered his craft.

His first urban fiction novel 'Fetty Boy' is loosley based on his life and experiences and gives a real insight into street-life. Since then, he has written numerous other book including a very powerful, all age novel called 'Made In America'.

Upon being released from prison after serving twenty years, 'Face' was then deported back to the same garrison he many years ago as a child. With most of his friends dead or in jail, still remains hopeful and positive by pursuing his dreams and aspirations in writing.
